From brief to finished product

Our design team starts from your brief and chooses the materials that suit your brand. You approve a 3D preview of the product, then a physical sample, before anything goes into production.

Finishes

Blind embossing

A die pressed into the cover under heat. No ink, nothing to wear off, and the finish most clients choose for leather.

Foil stamping

Gold, silver, copper or a matched Pantone foil. Holds a clean edge down to small type.

Silk screen

Opaque colour on dark or textured covers, where foil would be too reflective.

UV print

Full-colour artwork, photographic detail, and raised spot gloss over flat colour.

Block customisation

Your own calendar, sections, dividers and endpapers printed into the block itself.

Material combination

Two materials on one cover, such as leather with cloth, or a contrast spine and corner.
