Minimums and lead times: planning a made-to-order corporate gift

How little you can order, how long each step takes and what to send a manufacturer first — a planning guide from a factory that answers these questions daily.

Everything at CaspiGift is made to order: nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a logo. That changes how you plan. Two numbers come up in almost every first conversation — the minimum order and the lead time — so here they are, together with the reasoning behind them.

What the minimums are

Gift box sets start at 50 sets. Diaries, planners and other bound pieces start at 250 pieces. The floor exists because the work is tooling-driven: a die is cut, paper is guillotined, covers are pressed — the setup is the same for 50 pieces as for 5,000. Below the minimum the unit price stops making sense, and we would rather say that up front than quote a number that surprises you later.

Materials are chosen per project; a swatch code is enough to request a physical sample.

How long each step takes

A brief becomes a concept the same day it arrives. The 3D preview — your logo on your product, in your colours — follows within two to three working days and costs nothing. A physical sample is produced next, and only after you approve it does the production run start. The run itself scales with quantity: as a rule of thumb, leave weeks rather than days between approval and delivery, and allow more again for addresses outside Türkiye.

Pages are cut per order — the setup is the same for 250 pieces as for 5,000.

Order early for seasonal peaks

New Year, Ramadan Bayramı and end-of-year gifting stack every factory’s calendar into the same weeks. If the gift has a fixed date, start the conversation eight to ten weeks ahead. The sample and the approval are the steps that cost time, and both are calmer in a quiet month.

What we need to quote

Four things are enough to start: the product or a description of it, the approximate quantity, the deadline and the logo file. From there the quote, the 3D preview and the sample follow in sequence — and all four fit in the quote form in a few minutes.

Finished sets, packed per project.
